The Kensington Colleges was honoured by the attendance of Her Excellency the Governor of New South Wales, Professor Marie Bashir AC CVO, at a recent Principal's Dinner. Her Excellency spoke warmly about her career path and interests, indicating to the students that opportunities will arise for them that might be unexpected but that can be important and richly rewarding ways of developing skills and passions, especially in serving other people. The evening was a great success with staff, students, and guests enjoying the opportunity to ask questions and, over pre-dinner drinks and throughout the course of the evening, to speak informally with the Governor.
