The Mathews Prizes are awarded for the best academic performance in the previous year by a resident of each College in his/her first year of undergraduate study at UNSW, other than that of the recipient of the Mathews Scholarship. Each award is to the value of $500 credited to the resident’s account for accommodation costs, and is presented at the same time as the Mathews Scholarship.
