Supporting Your Studies

Academic support does not come second to the active social life of Philip Baxter collegians. There are a great number of student support networks existing within Baxter College to assist students with the academic side of university study.

The college has seven tutors, consisting of Masters and PhD students at UNSW, available to help students. Backing up the tutors are resident assistants, who are senior students, excelling in their own degree, with firsthand experience of coursework across a wide variety of subjects who are more than happy to help other collegians with problems that arise. Students from Philip Baxter have the unique opportunity of accessing tutors and resident assistants from Goldstein and Basser Colleges to ensure that no question goes unanswered!

Due to the large number of students in Baxter College many students are studying the same or similar courses allowing peer learning to take place. Peer learning is consolidated by tutors and resident assistants meeting and forming study groups with interested collegians.
