Moving to Sydney from a small country town seven hours drive away was a big change for me when I started uni. Coming to Goldstein made the transition not only an easy and comfortable one, but also a very enjoyable one. Goldstein college is a lively place where there is always something happening. I've made some of my best friends living here and have always had the academic and emotional support I've needed to get through uni. Being a smaller college Goldstein has the advantage of not having select, individual groups, instead you are part of one big group. For me, Goldstein feels like home and when I'm not here, I miss it!

Moving to Sydney from Leeton (a small country town in the Riverina) to go to Uni was a huge transition for me.  However, the tight knit college community at Goldstein has been great! It was easy to get to know everybody and develop friendships with with people from all over the world. The regular social, cultural and sporting activities make Goldstein a fun place to stay as well.  Aside from the social aspects of Goldstein, an invaluable academic support network is provided  The college academic staff are there to assist when help is needed.

My experience at Goldstein College so far has been awesome and I'm looking forward to another year ahead!

Goldstein College has given me the fantastic opportunity to make lifelong friends. Moving from another state to begin a university career is hard enough, so having a ready made family in a college environment such as Goldstein is amazing. I'm sure that the networks I have created whilst living in college can be called upon for many years to come. Also, living in Goldstein provides a large variety of academic, social, cultural and sporting activities. Memorable experiences include the Goldstein Ball, Jam Night, Famous Couples Parties and the Kensington Colleges formal dinners.  College allows me to enjoy a balanced lifestyle to complement my studies. I would recommend college living to any new students, as my time in Goldstein thus far has been an incredible experience.

About two years ago I was deciding on which college to apply for. In the end my choice fell on Goldstein. There was just something about the feel of the place that made me think it was the place to go.  And two years later, I know I made the right choice.  Here are some quick reasons why:
  • Its small enough to be able to get to know who everyone is;
  • Its relaxed and carefree spirit;
  • Its so centrally located - only a short distance to most campus facilities!
  • The welcome I received as an international student from the Seychelles. Goldstein is a warm and inclusive community, and quickly felt like home.
