Cultural Life

Providing a diverse cultural experience...

Alongside sporting and social events, Goldstein also celebrates and encourages other cultural talents and interests of residents. Jam Night, a major college event held twice a year, is a forum in which those with musical talent can shine. Mural competitions, debating, trivia and a band-comp are all actively contested by the three Kensington Colleges, as they compete for the inter-college Ruth Wheen Cup. And residents have the opportunity to involve themselves in a book club, an international food night and film evenings.

External cultural activities are also organized by the resident Cultural Director. Some highlights from previous years include:
  • Trips to the NSW Art-Gallery and local plays;
  • Swing dancing;
  • College trip to Cirque du Soliel;
  • Trips to concerts at the Opera House;
  • Campus events, including faculty revues and concerts.

Enjoy the opportunity to show off your talents. Enjoy the cultural benefits offered by life in Sydney.  Be a part of it!
