'The College watches a touch match'

Sport is a strong feature of College life.  Residents who are willing and able participate.  The remainder provides support from the sidelines.  Both levels of involvement are appreciated, and everybody has lots of fun.
 
There is a wide variety of sports to cater for the many interests of the College community.  They include:
  • Aussie Rules
  • Basketball
  • Chess
  • Cricket
  • Cross country running
  • Hockey
  • Netball
  • Rugby (League and Union)
  • Soccer
  • Swimming
  • Table tennis
  • Touch footy
 
Basser residents may choose also to be involved with UNSW teams that play against other local clubs, and against teams from other universities at the annual University Games.
 
The UNSW Lifestyle Centre (including the gymnasium and swimming pool) is a short walk from the College.
 
And the beach is a short walk in the opposite direction.
