The BASSER JUBILEE
1 AUGUST 2009
 
On 1 July Basser College will be 50 years old.
 
All former residents and staff members are warmly invited to come 'back to Basser' on August 1 to mark this important occasion.  It will be a time of nostalgia and celebration.
 
There will be an afternoon program and a dinner in the evening.  Come to either or to both.
 
 
The Afternoon
 
The afternoon program will run from midday to about 4 pm.
 
Events will include:
  • A barbeque
  • Campus tours
  • Past versus present in pool, table tennis
  • Room histories
  • The best of 'Basser Under the Stars'
 
The College space will also be generally available for 'Bassonians' to re-connect with one another.  There will be a coffee cart to facilitate this process.
 
Dress: casual.
 
There is no charge for the afternoon program.
 
 
The Jubilee Dinner
 
The dinner will be preceded by drinks in the College from 5.30 to 6 pm.
 
The dinner will take place in The John Niland Scientia Building at 6.45 for 7 pm.
 
Dress: lounge suit.
 
Cost: $80 pr person.
 
 
RSVP for both events no later than Friday, 17 July 2009.

The Kensington Colleges Alumni was established to promote and maintain links between both former
students, current students and the College. The Alumni aims to strengthen the community spirit fostered
within the Colleges by encouraging student participation in a range of social, cultural and sporting events.
Members of TKC Alumni also benefit from the opportunity to expand their professional and social
networks within a familiar environment. All TKC students are invited to join the Alumni.

Is your child or grandchild a student at UNSW?

The UNSW Alumni Association offers scholarships of up to $1,500 pa to eligible full-time undergraduate
students who are children of alumni.
