The 2009 Commencement Dinner at The Kensington Colleges was held in the Goldstein Dining Hall on 11th March. This year our guest of honour was the Deputy Chancellor, Ms Gabrielle Upton. Annual prizes were awarded amid much applause, with the most rousing cheer going out for James Hardiman, who won the TKC Award. James is an engineering student who was President of the Philip Baxter College House Committee for 2 years.

The Ruth Wheen Cup was accepted by current Baxter House Committee President Sean Watkins, and other Baxter College award recipients included Trent Irwin and Bernie Yu. Basserians awarded were Duncan Edwards and Austin Chen with Goldstein residents Keedon Wong and Jamie Macintosh also accepting prizes at the event.

As always, the dinner was a great start to the year at the Colleges.
